Award Winning Performance

08.04.2021

The new TS2 SCARA series from Stäubli is not only well received by the industry, now the innovative four-axis robots have won one of the most coveted design awards, the Red Dot Design Award 2021 in the "Product Design" category. A great success for the still young robot series, which sets benchmarks in terms of dynamics, precision and cleanroom

"We are very proud to receive this prestigious prize. It rewards the passion and commitment of the Stäubli teams designing products and solutions with unmatched performance, precision and reliability to various environments from harsh to sterile," emphasizes Christophe Coulongeat, Group Division Manager Stäubli Robotics.

The new four-axis impresses with their unique cylindrical working area which caused a sensation among experts when they were launched. The compact, closed design with internal media and supply lines knows no interfering contours, no sources of error and no unnecessary particle emissions. A completely sealed housing, the connections concealed under the robot base if desired, dead spaces consistently avoided - this is how hygienic design works today. This makes the robots the first choice even for sensitive applications in the pharmaceutical, medical and food sectors.

1The completely redesigned machines are now modular and have proprietary drive technology for the first time.

2They impress by virtue of their compact, enclosed design with internal media and supply lines. The absence of external cabling means that there are no irregular contours or sources of mechanical failure and no unnecessary particle emissions.

3The robots are available as specially modified versions for pharmaceutical, medical and food applications.

4The new TS2-100 with its impressive working radius of 1,000 millimeters.

6TS2-60, 8.4 kg load capacity, 620 mm reach

7TS2-80, 8.4 kg load capacity, 800 mm reach

8TS2-100, 8.4 kg load capacity, 1000 mm reach
