Sealing disc and fitting mandrel: For reliably closing off and sealing channels

With the new HASCO sealing discs Z9430/..., cooling channels can be easily closed off and sealed without any major outlay. Based on DIN 470, the slightly concave/convex copper sealing discs are driven into the channel with a Z9431/… fitting mandrel of a matching size so as to form a frictional connection.

The frictional connection achieved in this way ensures reliable sealing. Depending on the specific application, the use of an additional sealant, such as Loctite 577, is recommended as an option.

Using the Z9430/... sealing disc, it is possible to seal cooling channels with just a small mounting depth. There is no need to insert threads. HASCO offers all the different sizes deliverable immediately from stock.
