Miller Electric Mfg. Co. will participate in the HANNOVER MESSE 2016 as part of the US Trade Mission delegation, 25 to 29 April 2016, where it will offer its Welding Intelligence solutions with exclusive features to better enable companies to implement Industrie 4.0 design principles.

Welding Intelligence is a category of active and passive software that transforms electronic data into meaningful insights and actionable information to drive continuous improvements in the welding operation. For the first time, this software is available to provide real-time welding process control for automated welding in the European market through the presence of Insight Centerpoint™ welding information management systems on Auto-Axcess™ E advanced industrial power sources — both of which will be on display at the fair. This technology improves quality and productivity on robotic welding systems, as well as helps to manage costs.

Insight Centerpoint 9.0 and Industrie 4.0

Insight Centerpoint 9.0 enables companies to create efficient, effectively-networked smart factories. The softwares integrates into Auto-Axcess E advanced welding systems for welding automation, offering WorkFlow™ and Part Tracking™ tools that help ensure production process management and weld governance that delivers consistency and quality via a networked system.

Insight Centerpoint 9.0 enables companies to create efficient, effectively-networked smart factories. Miller achieves this benefit in several key ways:

• This software, integrated into the Auto-Axcess E advanced welding systems for welding automation, offers WorkFlow™ and Part Tracking™ tools that interface with the welding equipment and the part being built, ensuring production process management and weld governance that delivers consistency and quality via a networked system.
• Insight Centerpoint 9.0 allows companies to visualize and realize welding action across the broad functions of the organization, helping drive decisions that improve the welding operation.
• Insight Centerpoint 9.0 delivers real-time feedback to the weld cell to improve quality and productivity. Weld specifications falling outside of prescribed thresholds can be addressed and annotated immediately before the part moves down the production line, minimizing the need for future repair work and increasing throughput.

Auto-Axcess E Auto-Axcess E, combined with Insight Centerpoint 9.0 software, improves quality and productivity on robotic welding systems and helps to manage costs.

In addition, this software offers a new Library Manager tool that better organizes weldment drawings and photos, along with a more visual dashboard layout with speedometer-style performance indicators. Insight Centerpoint 9.0 also offers a persistent operating system that automatically picks up in sequence where the welding left off, following a power cycle.
