• Arburg has had a YouTube presence for the last five years
• Current videos on applications, processes, companies, trade fairs and events
• More than 2,400 subscribers regularly use Arburg videos as a source of information

The platform receives more than 500 clicks every day. Since spring 2010, Arburg has been regularly uploading new films about applications, processes, companies, trade fairs and events. The machine manufacturer is actually one of the pioneers in this area in its industry.

As well as maintaining a media centre on the www.arburg.com website, Arburg also uses its German and English language YouTube channel to exchange information and communicate with customers and interested parties worldwide. On the key date, 29 October, "ARBURGofficial" recorded 1,020,027 clicks and 2,419 subscribers - more than any other injection moulding machine manufacturer.

Clearly organised, up-to-date information in an instant
The moving images of the clearly organised, well-structured videos often make technical issues more comprehensible than detailed written explanations. One of the latest examples of this is the "cube mould" video from the packaging sector, which was filmed at the Arburg Technology Days 2015. This two-minute film shows how a hydraulic Allrounder 920 S injection moulding machine and a 32-cavity cube mould can be used in the efficient production of around 11,000 two-component closures per hour. Anyone watching this film will quickly grasp how the injection moulding technology works and whether the solution shown might meet their needs. Arburg produces about a dozen new videos each year.

Videos "on demand"
Anyone who wants to watch an Arburg video just needs to enter the term "ARBURGofficial" in the search bar under www.youtube.com and will then find themselves taken directly to the company's own channel. A choice of around 120 videos is available there. The videos are sorted into playlists according to topic, e. g. Packaging, Automation, Industry 4.0 or Additive Manufacturing.
Once the film has been shown, viewers have a number of choices available: they can either watch more films, subscribe to the "ARBURGofficial" channel, evaluate the film and/or write a comment. The Media Centre on the website (http://www.arburg.com/de/mediathek/videos/) also offers quick overviews and detailed information.
