Dustcontrol UK's GFF BrushesDustcontrol UK is set to exhibit its new process extraction and general cleaning range at this year’s Processing and Packaging Machinery Association Total Show (PPMA).

Taking place from Tuesday, October 1 to Thursday, October 3 at the NEC, Birmingham, the Dustcontrol team will be showcasing the firm’s new GFF range of equipment for centralised vacuum systems, at Stand E30.

The GFF range is designed to offer a source extraction system that can be fully integrated into the production process for recycling, or used as a centralised vacuum cleaning system. Ultimately, it provides a flexible system where all parts are approved for food contact, contributing to safe and hygienic food production.

In addition, Dustcontrol UK will also be showcasing its powerful DC 11 Module, DC 1800, DC Tromb 400 and DC AirCube.

Jams Miller, Managing Director of Dustcontrol UK, said: "The PPMA exhibition is a great event and one that we're all very excited to showcase our products at. We’re particularly looking forward to showcasing a new GFF range, which offers an exciting solution with a market leading combination of features.”

When fully integrated with all GFF components, the system includes flap valves, suction brushes, flat nozzles, hose connectors, tubing system, joints, pre-separator, automatic shutter valves and filter units.

The GFF brushes, in particular, are antistatic and ESD certified, with a material composition that makes them detectable via metal detector as well as being autoclavable up to 121 degrees Celsius, allowing for high-pressure saturated steam cleaning. Their colour coding, covering five handle colours and two interchangeable brush colours, also allows for different applications in the factory, or different days of the week depending on need.

James concluded: “The PPMA event will provide an excellent opportunity for us to show those in the food industry how we can offer comprehensive systems fully integrated into the production process. All GFF material is approved for food contact and we offer a complete service package, including accessories and spare parts to be used when clean is not enough.”

The company, based in Milton Keynes, has over 45 years of experience in developing dust extraction solutions and centralised vacuum systems to fit client requirements in the production industry. They are experts in capturing dust at its source - both where and when it’s created.

Organised by the PPMA, the three-day event will see 450 exhibitors showcase their products to more than 8,000 visitors, with every aspect of the production line being represented; from labelling, filling and packaging machinery, to processing equipment, robotics, automation and industrial vision systems.
