Halter CNC Automation increases CNC-machine productivity:No knowledge of robot programming required

27.02.2018

In recent years the cost price of manufactured products in the milling sector has suffered under significant pressure. And as pricing is a growing concern, delivery deadlines are becoming shorter for dwindling production series, while wage costs are rising. In order to stem this trend, CEO Wouter van Halteren of Halter CNC Automation has designed a loading robot, the Halter LoadAssistant. Easy to operate, it is intended for loading and/or unloading of all makes of CNC turning and milling machines.

Halter stacking production 1While increasing the number of spindle hours, it also improves user comfort and efficiency. The models Universal and S-230 of this loading robot are presented in action on the Metav 2018 in Messe Düsseldorf. A universal, movable robot cell with a fully assembled loading robot can be programmed for a new product series in less than 5 minutes by anyone without any previous knowledge of robot programming. Since its establishment in 2013, Halter CNC Automation has exhibited a tremendous growth. With a head office located in the Netherlands, Halter CNC Automation serves dealerships in the United Kingdom as well as in the United States. Aside from this, they are represented by an extensive dealer network in over 18 countries worldwide; ranging from Europe to New Zealand. In Europe alone, the organisation boasts over 30 dealers with whom they closely cooperate. Nonetheless, both in Europe as well as in America, a diligent search is on to find more dealers with a solid experience in automation of production processes in countries such as Spain, France, Poland, Scandinavia and Slovenia. This particularly concerns dealers specialising in the sale of CNC machines and/or system integrators for industrial automation. The production of the Halter LoadAssistant is handled by Fastem Systems in Issum, Germany, a partner of Halter CNC Automation. If everything happens according to plan, the first European Experience Center will be opened in the Netherlands in 2018, followed by Experience Centers in the United Kingdom as well as the United States. Finally, it should be mentioned that the internationally operating team of Halter CNC Automation service engineers is available worldwide to offer users an even more professional service. The production factory in Issum, Germany, offers monthly workshops tailored to (potential) customers and other interested parties.
